As a huge Foo Fighters fan, I jumped at the chance to create a fictional concert poster for one of my favorite bands. This poster incorporates the band's extra terrestrial theme, along with the logo for their Concrete and Gold album. I was inspired by the movie Close Encounters and used various Photoshop and Illustrator techniques to mimic an alien abduction in the desert. The poster, while needing to be visually pleasing and on brand, also needed to clearly communicate the concert details, which I did using font choice, hierarchy, proximity and color.
